In a lot of bands, the bassist is the forgotten member. Keeping it down with the drummer, standing in the background while the singer and the lead guitarist get all the attention. Well, on Stuck In Thee Garage this week, I played songs featuring bassists who most decidedly don't blend into the scenery. Nobody's faking the funk (or prog or whatever) here.
