Where's the beef? That phrase is probably the one most associated with the year 1984 and it hopefully made some marketing copywriter a rich person. It was used to sell hamburgers, but it ended up becoming a cultural phenomenon. Now, 35 years later, it's largely forgotten except by those of us who lived through it.
